Iberostar opens ninth resort in Mexico
The all-inclusive, 426-room Iberostar Cancun opens Dec. 1, the brand’s ninth property in Mexico.
All rooms, villas and suites in the property, the former Hilton Cancun, have ocean views.
Facilities include seven pools (one infinity), four specialty restaurants, a professional soccer field, a convention center, two tennis courts, and a spa and gym. The Iberostar will be the only hotel in Cancun with an 18-hole golf course.
A special Winter Nights opening offer for travel agents includes a free five-night stay for a booking of five more nights. It works this way: each booking of three or more nights earns the agent an entry into a drawing to win a five-night trip for two, including airfare and oceanfront villa accommodations.
To qualify, agents must register their bookings at www.iberostaragentincentive.com by Dec. 4.
In addition, consumer promotions include book for six nights, pay for four plus receive $500 in a resort credit; book three to five nights, get one night free and $250 in resort credit.
The booking window ends Nov. 30; the travel window runs from Dec. 24 through April 30.
